Now is a perfect time to get involved in a new ministry of the church. Find a bible study, participate in a mission project, help a neighbor, teach a class, search your heart and ask God to lead you to the position HE would have you participate in.

WMU’s main purpose is to educate and involve adults, youth, children, and preschoolers in the cause of Christian missions. The focus of WMU at Benton Station Baptist Church is:
WMU meets the fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm.
Vision: To participate in “Christian Acts of Service & Agape Love” to people in need. These may include our local church body, the community, our neighboring counties, victims of disaster within the US, or ministering in a foreign country. These Christian acts are motivated by our displaying of Christ’s love & in obedience to our God where all the recognition should be given.
* The Brotherhood is open to any man/boy that is willing to help others.
* We meet the 4th Wednesday at 7:00 to plan our projects for the following Wednesday and briefly discuss a topic that relates to Men.
* We participate in “Active Ministry” projects. Typically, these may be cleaning out gutters, painting, yard work, “Handyman jobs” for people who are in need of help. Additionally, we utilize a visitation program for senior adults, Handicap individuals, and other Men who may need encouragement.
* We have begun a Disaster relief training sessions in hopes of developing into a relief team next year!
* The Brotherhood also tries to develop our Men/boys through Men’s ministry.
* Some of our activities include: Promise Keepers conference, Breakfast “get-togethers,” we’re planning a Men’s retreat and a camping trip.
Benton Station Baptist Church has implemented a new children’s ministry called First Church. This upbeat, interactive program is designed to lead children between the ages of 4 and 8 in worship and Biblical instruction. Through music, video segments, and other activities, young people will learn Biblical truths on a level they can understand. Parents can contact Karen Disney, Kelly Maynor, or Courtney Pippenger for more information to help them decide if this program is right for their children. Of course, children are always welcome in the sanctuary for the traditional service.
We are to accept and encourage one another in a spirit of unity as we follow Christ Jesus. This we do in order to bring praise to God. We were meant to do life together with other Christians. As we bow before God in an assembly of God’;s people, God inhabits our praise. In song, prayer, testimonies, preaching, and communion, we praise the Lord for His grace, love, and mercy. We invite you to come experience God’s love through fellowship with His body at Benton Station Baptist Church.
